"Lionheart Lakes was, as novice carp anglers, our first fishing trip to France and we were spoilt and must return. 

Nic, the owner, showed us a few tricks and before long we lost count of the 20lb plus Mirrors and Commons up to 18lb.  The lakes are in a breathtaking and idyllic setting and the cottage accommodation is superb. 

Local amenities are excellent as are the restaurants if you prefer not to cook.  We just can't wait to go back now we are tackled up with the right gear to put into action everything we have learnt."

Lionheart Feeedback

“This was our first fishing trip to France and we could not have wished for a more breathtaking lake as Lionheart Lakes.

My two sons Ryan and Kristian and myself fished everyday for that big carp and even though we did not catch any 30's or 40's we had some fantastic carp up to 23lb and even Helen my wife got in with the action catching bream and roach (Helen had never fished before). Ryan fished 24 - 7 and had some nice fish around 5am.

I would like to thank Colin who looked after us, gave some great advice and made all of us feel so very welcome, it was a pleasure to meet him and his wife Janet.


We felt this fishery was not just for the angler but suited the whole family and can not wait to visit again.”
